Next stop: Portugal.

I’ve been here almost 2 weeks now after a 3 day drive down through France and Spain. The journey was amazing; totally breathtaking views through the Pyrenees towards the coast. I stopped at the beach for a day and got my fix of sandy feet and salty skin before heading into mainland Spain and beyond.

The place here in Portugal is at the start of a big process; Miguel is expecting a yurt any day and the land has been cleared for a multitude of tipis. A river lazily drifts along at the bottom of the land and we regularly jump in first thing in the morning to clear the night away. There has been a little group of us friends down here for a while but as people leave and new people arrive, we’re trying to formulate a plan for September that will involve some hardwork and focus. It’s an amazing spot and there’s lots to be done if we want it ready for the summer. Exciting to imagine what we can do here and i really hope we can open up the space for retreats and workshops sometime soon.

My travels are still very much taking the ethos of “one day at a time!”. The unknown is both bitter and sweet as i muddle my way through this inner and outer journey. But it’s all good - all will be revealed i’m sure!

Until the next installment, wishing you all love and light,
