Welcome

Yoga is an ancient and holistic practice, encompassing all the elements that can help lead us towards our own inner and outer freedom.

In the West we classically associate it with body work, and many of us find a beautiful gift from just this alone.  But it would be wrong to think of yoga as just postures on a mat. It is a vast and abundant system of philosophical practices and disciplines.

Yoga helps us to learn how to strike a balance between body, mind and spirit.  It helps us in cultivating a meditative state and an openness to the abundance of life.

My background in the Iyengar tradition has given me a deep understanding of how the asanas affect the physical body and help in creating healthy posture, strength and vitality.  As well as nourishing the physical core, the practice of yoga also helps to open the energetic, mental and emotional bodies, paving the way for freedom and flow within the whole being.

Through my experience as a yoga teacher and student i’ve been joyfully exposed to many great masters, spiritual teachers and yoga practitioners who have helped me to cultivate an approach which integrates an understanding of the body from the intelligence of the heart.

I believe that yoga is a great way for us to enter into dialogue with ourselves.  Through practice, our mind becomes quiet and we are able to access moments of connection with our true inner being.  These moments open the way for profound physical and emotional transformation.

I teach workshops in Bristol, London and Southern France.
